ICIS is implementing a process of rolling consultation on all of its pricing methodologies. This consultation paper is part of this formal process and covers all of the ICIS primary price points included in the polypropylene weekly publications.
The consultation asks both general questions about the suitability of the ICIS pricing methodology and questions addressing specific polypropylene market issues.

One respondent asked for coverage of EVA copolymer and metallocene grades with either weekly or monthly price assessments.
Another respondent requested weekly price data and commentary, together with forecasts for all global regions.
A third respondent had some questions about the Africa assessments, and these were answered separately.
ICIS Decision
ICIS will survey the market to see if coverage of Europe EVA prices is feasible, with a view to a decision by the end of March 2022.
ICIS polypropylene forecasts cover three regions – Asia, Europe, Americas – and additional regional forecasts will be launched in 2022.
