Summary and Decision
The consultation asked general questions about the suitability of the ICIS pricing methodology.
ICIS received one response with compliments for the Asia editor, and praise for the Asia pricing range covering both buyers’ and sellers’ input in a methodology which is widely accepted in the physical market.
ICIS will not be proposing any immediate changes to the methodology of the toluene reports. Any decision to change this methodology will be communicated to subscribers using the usual channels and with the usual notice period.
ICIS continues to welcome any feedback on its toluene methodology outside of the formal consultation process.
