The ICIS Oxo Alcohols report is published weekly in Asia, China, Europe and the US
- CFR East Asia prices are quoted for isobutanol (IBA), 2 ethylhexanol (2-EH) and dioctyl phthalate (DOP), while normal butanol (NBA) is quoted for CFR NE Asia and SE Asia. CFR India prices are also quoted for 2-EH.
- In Europe, NBA, IBA and 2-EH are quoted on a Free Delivered (FD) North West Europe (NWE) basis.
- In the US, both contract and spot delivered prices are quoted for NBA, IBA and 2-EH, while FOB export prices are quoted for NBA, IBA and 2-EH.
- In the Oxo-Alcohols (China) report, domestic 2-EH (2-ethylhexanol), NBA (N-butanol) and IBA (Isobutanol) cargoes assessed are 30-300 tonnes, CFR CMP standard cargoes are 1000 tonnes at minimum for NBA and 2-EH, CFR CMP standard cargoes are 500 tonnes at minimum for IBA.
