The chart takes you through the refining and processing of hydro-carbon based raw materials and feedstocks, to building blocks and their derivatives, right up to their application in everyday products.

This is not intended to be a fully comprehensive picture but represents the product flows based on data from the ICIS Supply and Demand Database available at the time of printing. This chart develops on ideas from Petrochemicals Europe (an industry sector of Cefic).
